Backup · Disaster recovery

When something fails, get back to work fast.

Hardware dies, files get deleted and ransomware happens. A backup only matters if it restores, so we test ours and plan with you for how fast your business needs to be back up.

Questions worth asking

  • When was the last time someone tested a restore?
  • If your server died this morning, how long until you were working again?
  • Would ransomware encrypt your backups too?
  • Is your Microsoft 365 email and OneDrive backed up, or only synced?

What we take care of

Server and workstation backup

Scheduled backups with copies kept off site.

Microsoft 365 backup

Email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams data protected outside of Microsoft.

Restore testing

We test restores so the first one is not during an emergency.

Recovery planning

A written plan for what happens, who does what and how long it takes.

Ransomware protection

Backups that ransomware cannot reach or change.

Questions we hear

Is cloud sync the same as backup?

No. Sync copies mistakes and deletions too. A backup lets you go back to how things were before the problem.

How fast can you restore?

It depends on what failed and how much data you have. We work out the target with you during setup and test against it.

Let's see if we're a good fit

An assessment is a conversation, not a sales pitch. We learn how your business runs, you learn how we work and what it costs, and we both decide if f8 Tech is the right fit.
